The project "WiHoWiT - Knowledge Transfer between Science and Higher Education Research and the Ministries of Science" was part of an symposium at the 18th Annual Meeting of the Society for Higher Education Research (GfHf) at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

On September 12, the symposium "Knowledge Transfer between University Research, University Development and Ministries of Science" took place at the GfHf conference.

After the welcome by Prof. Dr. Uwe Wilkesmann, three projects from the BMBF funding line "Knowledge Transfer" were presented. Viktoria Jäger gave an insight into the first results of the project WiHoWiT. Her presentation focused on individual and organizational factors influencing knowledge transfer between ministry employees and (university) researchers (see word cloud below for examples).

Subsequently, first results from the projects WiHoWiT, TransForM (CHE - Center for Higher Education Development) and SuRele (HoF - Institute for Higher Education Research) were discussed under the question of what conditions are necessary for knowledge transfer between higher education research, higher education development and science ministries to succeed.
